In Georgia the official rate is set by the National Bank (NBG) each business day and takes effect the next day. Central bank website
Official rates of the central banks of Georgia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Türkiye and Armenia; a commercial bank's rate may differ.
Source: official rates of the national central banks of Georgia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Türkiye and Armenia (NBG, CBAR, CBR, TCMB, CBA), refreshed hourly.
How it works
The tool pulls rates from the official bulletins of the national central banks of Georgia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Türkiye and Armenia (NBG, CBAR, CBR, TCMB, CBA) — each national currency comes from its own central bank; if the official sources are unreachable, an open source is used. Rates refresh on the server once an hour, keeping the data official, fast and stable. Conversion goes via a base currency (USD): result = amount × target-currency rate / source-currency rate.
Example
To convert 100 dollars to lari the tool multiplies the amount by the current official National Bank of Georgia (NBG) rate: at a rate of 2.61 that works out to roughly 261 GEL. The rate moves every day — the tool always applies the current official one, so the figure on screen matches today's rate.

Which currencies are available?
GEL, USD, EUR, RUB, AZN, TRY, AMD.
Is this the official rate?
Yes — rates come from the official bulletins of the national central banks of Georgia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Türkiye and Armenia; a commercial bank's rate may differ.
Is the tool free?
Yes — completely free.
How do I convert a listing price from dollars into lari or manat?
Listings on Bazarla are usually priced in US dollars. Pick USD → GEL (or USD → AZN), enter the amount shown in the listing, and you get the equivalent at the current official rate — handy for working out what you are really paying before you negotiate with the seller.
Can I convert manat to lari?
Yes — choose AZN → GEL, or GEL → AZN for the other direction. Bazarla's listings are concentrated in Marneuli in the Kvemo Kartli region, close to the Georgia–Azerbaijan border at the Red Bridge crossing, so converting between manat and lari comes up constantly. Both rates come straight from the CBAR and NBG bulletins.
Who sets the official rate in Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia?
In Georgia, the National Bank (NBG, nbg.gov.ge) publishes the weighted-average interbank rate by 17:00 each business day, and it takes effect the next day. In Azerbaijan, the Central Bank (CBAR, cbar.az) publishes the official manat rate daily; in recent years the dollar has stayed around 1.70 manat. In Armenia, the Central Bank (CBA, cba.am) publishes daily market-average rates for the freely floating dram. Picking a country above shows the matching bank.
How do I convert dollars or euros to Armenian dram?
Pick Armenia (USD → AMD or EUR → AMD), or set the pair by hand. The dram rate comes from the Central Bank of Armenia bulletin. In Armenia, prices of goods and services are quoted in dram, so this is the figure a local price tag will be based on.
Why does the exchange office quote a different rate?
This tool shows the official central bank rate. Commercial banks and exchange booths add their own margin, so their buy and sell rates will always differ a little. Treat the official rate as the reference point for judging whether the rate you are offered is fair.
